About Me

I'm Cameron.

I am currently 16 years old. I have a very small and very large family, depending on how you look at it. I'm a virgo, I don't believe in fate or god, but I majorly believe in luck and superstitions. I am socially awkward, depending on the company. I have a strange hatred for oranges. I am a hopeless romantic with high standards, and that is the worst combination. I am a pessimist desperately trying to be an optimist, I'm selfish desperately trying to be selfless, and I'm lazy desperately trying to participate.

I spend my time reading, watching movies, obsessing over things, and going to school. I travel with my family and sometimes I hang out with friends, when I'm not busy reading, watching movies, obsessing over things, and going to school.

I enjoy traveling, and am so lucky to have the resources to go to the places I've been as well as the most amazing travel partner, my mom. Recently, I have travelled to Ireland, Spain, New Mexico, New York City, and Boston. My favorite place in the entire world is New Zealand, the land of the ever changing landscape and of 'the long white cloud', and my home away from home is Hawaii, the land of liquid sunshine and constant water.

I have a passion for music. There will never be enough money in the world, or time, to listen to all of the music and go to all of the concerts I wish to go to. I love the Arctic Monkeys, Imagine Dragons, and Lo-Fang. I'm lucky to have a friend who is even more passionate about music than I am.

If I were asked to choose between movies and books, I wouldn't know what to say. The truth is, while I love reading and watching movies, I love stories the most. It doesn't matter how they are told, as long as they hold emotion. Perhaps that's where my passion for art comes from, but I'll never know. I guess I just have an appreciation for beauty, no matter what shape, size, sound, or feeling that it is found.

Finally, I'm sure this is cliche to most teenage readers these days, but my dream is to be a writer. But who knows what the future will hold.
